Registration Terms
These terms govern registrations for open-enrolment courses and programmes delivered by MGT OPEN d.o.o., Grižane, Croatia (the organiser). By submitting a registration form on mgtopen.com you accept these terms.
1. Registration and confirmation
Submitting the registration form constitutes a binding request to register. Depending on the course, payment is made either by card at the time of registration or against an invoice. Where you pay by card, your place is reserved on successful payment and confirmed in writing together with the joining details. Where you request an invoice, we issue it within two working days of receiving your form; your place is reserved on receipt of the invoice amount and confirmed in writing together with the joining details. Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date and in any case before the course start date.
2. Fees and VAT
All fees are stated net of VAT. Croatian PDV of 25 percent is added for companies registered in Croatia and for registrations without a valid business VAT identification number. EU businesses outside Croatia with a valid VAT ID are invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism and account for VAT in their own country. Companies outside the EU are invoiced without VAT. The fee includes tuition, course materials and the catering stated on the course page. For courses marked accordingly, the fee also includes working lunches, an executive dinner or a joint online follow-up session, as stated on the course page.
3. Early bird fees
Where an early bird fee is offered, it applies to registrations received by the stated deadline. The invoice must be settled within the payment terms above for the early bird fee to remain valid.
4. Substitution and cancellation
A registered delegate may be substituted by a colleague from the same company at any time before the course starts, at no charge; please inform us in writing. For company pair registrations, substitution applies per seat.
Cancellations must be made in writing. For cancellations received more than 60 days before the course start date, the fee is refunded in full. For cancellations received 60 to 30 days before the start date, 50 percent of the fee is due. For cancellations received fewer than 30 days before the start date, and in case of no-show, the full fee is due. Instead of cancelling, you may transfer the registration to the next scheduled edition of the same course, subject to availability, if you inform us more than 30 days before the start date.
5. Changes and cancellation by the organiser
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, timings, venue within the same city and, where necessary, the facilitator, without this constituting grounds for cancellation. If we cancel a course, all fees received for it will be refunded in full. Our liability is limited to the refund of fees paid; we recommend booking flexible travel and accommodation, as we cannot reimburse travel costs.
6. Data protection
The data you provide is used to administer your registration, issue invoices and send joining details. Subscription to the Circular Times newsletter is voluntary, requires a separate opt-in on the form, and can be withdrawn at any time. Details are set out in our privacy policy.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Croatian law. The place of jurisdiction is Rijeka, Croatia.
