Lead the Circular Transition
Executive Programmes for Sustainability Leaders
in Croatia 2026
Programme Lead: Dr Gordana Kierans
Crikvenica | 9–11 September 2026
Zagreb | 12–16 October 2026
Zagreb | 7–12 December 2026

The sustainability transition is no longer a future challenge.
It is a present leadership responsibility.
Across industries and sectors, leaders are facing increasingly complex questions. How do we move beyond compliance and reporting? How do we address interconnected environmental, social, and economic challenges? How do we lead organisations through uncertainty while creating long-term value?
To help answer these questions, MGT OPEN is launching a series of executive programmes in Croatia designed specifically for professionals who want to lead meaningful change in their organisations, communities, and industries.
Set against the backdrop of Croatia‘s beautiful Adriatic coast and vibrant capital city, these programmes combine practical tools, systems thinking, leadership development, and sustainability expertise. Participants will engage with current challenges, learn from international experience, and connect with like-minded professionals committed to shaping a more sustainable future.
Circular Economy, Systems Thinking and Leadership
Crikvenica | 9–11 September 2026
The challenges facing organisations today are interconnected, complex, and constantly evolving. This executive programme introduces participants to the principles of the circular economy and the power of systems thinking as tools for navigating complexity and creating long-term value. Through practical frameworks, real-world case studies, and leadership insights, participants will learn how to identify leverage points, redesign systems, and lead sustainable transformation within their organisations.

Circular Leadership
Zagreb | 12–16 October 2026
Technical solutions alone will not deliver the sustainability transition. Organisations need leaders who can navigate uncertainty, engage stakeholders, inspire change, and build resilient cultures. Circular Leadership explores the mindsets, behaviours, and leadership approaches required to lead systemic transformation. Participants will develop the skills needed to guide teams and organisations through complexity while creating lasting environmental, social, and economic value. ESG for Public Leaders
Zagreb | 7–12 December 2026
Governments, regulators, municipalities, and public institutions play a critical role in shaping a sustainable future. This programme equips public-sector leaders with the knowledge and practical tools needed to integrate ESG principles into policy, governance, strategy, and public value creation. Participants will explore stakeholder expectations, sustainability frameworks, governance mechanisms, and leadership approaches that enable institutions to respond effectively to emerging environmental and social challenges.
The Complete Leadership Journey
While each programme can be attended independently, together they form a comprehensive development pathway for professionals leading sustainability and systemic transformation. Participants who complete all three programmes gain a unique combination of expertise in circular economy, systems thinking, transformational leadership, and ESG governance, i.e., essential capabilities for navigating the challenges and opportunities of the twenty-first century.
Registration
To register for an individual programme, please click on the corresponding registration form above.
Participants wishing to attend all three programmes can take advantage of our Executive Programme Series Package, which combines all three workshops for €7,000 instead of the standard combined fee of €8,800, representing a saving of €1,800.
The package provides the most comprehensive learning journey for sustainability leaders seeking to strengthen their expertise in systems thinking, circular economy, ESG, and transformational leadership.
