Coaching
Leading the circular transformation can be lonely work.
You carry the vision, the questions, and the sceptics.
Often all at once.
Seed-to-Seed is executive coaching for leaders of the circular transition.
One calm voice, one honest challenger, one framework grown over a lifetime.
Coaching with Dr Gordana Kierans
You know where your organisation needs to go.
What nobody tells you is how much of the journey you would be navigating alone. The business case gets challenged in every budget round. Resource prices and supply chains shift under your feet. Colleagues ask, sometimes kindly and sometimes not, why you still bother. And between all of it, there is rarely anyone to think with. Not a cheerleader, and not another consultant with a slide deck, but someone who understands the circular economy deeply enough to question you properly.
Who am I and how do I work?
I was raised on a farm.
Long before I taught the circular economy as a professor, sat on the Supervisory Board of Circle Economy Foundation in Amsterdam, or trained leaders from the Gulf to China, I learned the original circular system: soil, seed, season, harvest, and the wisdom of saving part of this year’s crop to plant the next. That upbringing became the Cultivation Model, a framework more than 12,000 students worldwide have used to grow circular ideas.
Seed-to-Seed is its next season, refined for the leaders those ideas depend on.
I have witnessed first hand how often capable leaders stall, not for lack of knowledge, but for lack of ground to stand on. That is what this coaching cultivates.
Every coach promises a calm voice.
I also promise an honest one. In our sessions I will take the role your boardroom sceptics play, and I will play it better, because I know the circular economy from the inside. The business case that survives our conversations survives the CFO. You leave not just steadier, but armed.
Three Ways to Work Together
Seed. For the leader at the fork in the road. A focused engagement to find your ground, name the real question, and choose your direction with clarity.
Cultivate. For the leader in the thick of transformation. Ongoing coaching through the seasons of change: nourishing what grows, pruning what does not, and holding steady when storms come.
Seed-to-Seed. The full cycle. From first grounding to the point where your leadership renews itself, and what you have grown begins seeding others.
(Optional Year Two: The Witnessed Cycle, for leaders who want accompaniment through a second season.)
The questions will not get easier. Your answers can get stronger.
“The creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.”
