The Circular Economy: From Trash to Ca$h (Amman)
1 April @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm€50
If you believe that our world should have clean air, clear oceans and unpolluted cities while still providing us a life of abundance, join us for this unique seminar that will take place in Amman on the evenings of 1 and 2 April.
More and more people are now talking about the Circular Economy. More importantly, there is also a lot of “walk the talk” action as many MNEs, Governments, Banks, Investors and Entrepreneurs are rallying behind this transformational shift. Recently, in this year’s global business summit in Davos, Switzerland, 30 international companies signed an initiative worth USD $1.3 trillion. The initiative? None other that to agree to implement the Circular Economy!
And, how about Jordan? What are Jordanian companies doing to implement the Circular Economy?
What is the Circular Economy?
The Circular Economy is the opposite of our current linear model (take-make-use-dispose) because it progressively separates our economic growth and development from the consumption of limited resources. It keeps technical materials, like metals for example, in circulation at high quality and the biological materials can become a resource for a new product. The concept of the Circular Economy is mimicking Mother Earth’s living systems where there is no waste.
This evening workshop on 1 and 2 April from 17:30 – 20:30 will highlight the principles of the Circular Economy but also – as the title “From Trash to Cash” implies – focus on two key elements:
- How you can make profit from the accumulated waste that we have already dumped and
- How to design a world where there is no more waste.
So, if you want to know how you can profit from this emerging shift toward the Circular Economy, then join us for this transformational workshop! Thereafter, you will see the world around you with different eyes and be able to identify new opportunities for you where others only see trash.
